Martin Luther King Day - 18th January

Martin Luther King Day is celebrated on 18th January 2016 in the US. Dr Martin Luther King Jr. was a leader of the civil rights movement in 1960s America, which meant that he hoped that black people and white people would begin to live together peacefully, with equal rights. He was assassinated in 1968.
Martin Luther King walczył o równe prawa dla wszystkich ludzi, niezależnie od rasy i pochodzenia. Amerykanie  pamiętają o  nim każdego roku, 18 stycznia.
